Surprise Les!!

While Les was at work yesterday I ,with the awesome help of Rob, Brooke and Ethan managed to get part of her landscaping done. it was a surprise to Les. We were a force to be reckoned with and completed the job in 2 hours flat. I had my plan all in my head before we started. I made 4 stops getting everything, called brooke and told them to get their work clothes on and we all worked well together. I had delivered the creek rocks earlier. We planted 6 Boxwood shrubs, 1 twisting evergreen(can remember the official name)36 red geraniums, 1 flat of red/white swirl petunias and 8 stripe hostas. We spread 17 bags of black mulch, placed the rocks and installed 8 landscaping lights. Les was so pleased with it she said she just wanted to sit out front in a chair and stare at it. She said it would have taken her 2 days to figure out the layout. I said that was my main reason for doing it without her. As soon as they get the new windows on the end of the house we plan to landscape the end. And then I have my vision of how to turn the area outside the back door into a lovely peaceful flower garden with waterfalls , walkways, etc. Their house looks great with the new roof and siding. Happy Birthday Little Sis Sue!

My little sis Sue is 45 tomorrow. Does this bring back memories? Jay doesn't know I am posting this pic. I believe you would have been almost 9 years old. Shirley looks so sweet. Happy B-day Bob

I got behind again with my b-days. Bob was 32 on the 25th (Memorial Day). We celebrated his B-day on the 23rd at the big cookout/waterslide/jeepin party we had at the kids house. Everyone had a great time. I forgot my camera so I need to have Amy send me some pics to post.
